Maresfield Gardens

This disused building in a conservation area required a complete overhaul and extension. We created an award-winning seven-bedroom family home with 530 square metres of refurbished space, including a rear extension, roof terrace, two-storey side extension and loft conversion. 

The new helical staircase creates a four-storey void filled with natural light. Opening up internal walls between the common areas and orienting them toward the outdoors allowed a free-flowing layout for eating, studying and entertaining. New, enlarged spaces include a kitchen- dining room, vast lower-ground playroom, luxurious master suite and a full two-storey children’s living space incorporating the converted loft.

MW Architects designed and co-ordinated all of the internal joinery and fixtures and fittings throughout the house and also designed a bespoke yoga studio in the garden.
